Brush Up On Your Wood Work With A Flat Pack Bicycle

Nicolas Belly has been making a name for himself recently as he game second place in the 2010 L’ARGUS Design Competition with his unique take on mobility. The theme this year was “Less Is More” and first place went to a design for an urban public information terminal.

You can just imagine nipping down your local flat pack store to pick up a flat pack bookshelf, flat pack kitchen unit, a flat pack bike and a flat pack scooter.

We’re not sure if these will ever likely come into any sort of production but what a Christmas 2010 gift they would be if they did – “I bet you can’t guess what it is” you’ll say as you hand over the wrapped slab and perhaps a screwdriver. Imagine the surprise as Christmas Day turns out to be wood working – fantastic.
