Summer is here and the sun is shining, now we need access to our summer music. What better than a portable audio system for our music player?

Fortunately, there is an answer in the Sharp DK-AP7N portable audio system which is a stylish, functional and ultra-portable sound system. With a 2.1 channel speaker system (yes, a sub-woofer) and an iPod dock we can play our favourite summer anthems wherever we happen to be. When travelling, the unit folds shut to protect its interface and it also has a built-in 5 hour battery life (AC adaptor included). We all care about the environment these days so its good to see the unit is also ENERGY STAR compliant.

For input and output there is of course the iPod dock (for playback and charging), but there is also a video output for connection to a television set to watch your iPod videos, and an input for other sound sources.

Included in the unit is some technical wizardry called ESound which processes the digital sound signal to improve the quality (frequency and sound pressure) of the sound from typically compressed music often found in MP3 style formats.
