Google Announce Nexus One

Earlier today Google announced its own entry into the mobile handset market place. The Nexus One from Google – is manufactured by HTC and runs latest version of Google Android OS.

Some of the specifications of the Nexus One Include:

• 3.7” WVGA AMOLED touch screen
• 800×480 pixels
• 5 Megapixel camera
• 20 fps video at 720×480
• Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
• Wi-Fi with 802.11 b/g/n support
• Android Mobile 2.1
• Qualcomm 1Ghz Processor
• 512MB Flash
• 512MB Ram
• 4GB Micro SD Card expandable to 32GB
• 7 hours talk time using 3G (10 hours with 2G)
• 250 hours standby on 3G (290 hours with 2G)
• 5 hours Internet usage on 3G with 6.5 hours using Wi-Fi
• Haptic Feedback, Teflon coated back, second microphone for noise cancellation, light and proximity sensors, accelerometer, digital compass, Cell tower and Wi-Fi positioning and Assisted GPS

It looks like it is set for arrival in Europe in Spring 2010 on the Vodafone Network although lucky US residents can get one now either directly or with a T-Mobile contact.
