Light Up Your Sound With The SoundOrb Aurora

Gear4 come out with some novel gadgets, and more recently they announced the future sounding SoundOrb Aurora which adds an ambient light to a speaker with wireless down-firing sub-woofer for iPod and iPhone devices. The sub-woofer, in this 2.1 wireless speaker system, works up to 30 metres away thanks to 2.4 Ghz wireless technology.

An ambient light, with 1000s of colours (as well as just clean white), to complement a speaker dock may not sound much at first glance but it adds bags of potential to the number of places where you can listen to your tunes and be a little more productive – it also looks great too.

If you have the SoundOrb connected up to your television it has a handy feature of an ‘Ad Mute’ for those annoying blasts of sound during commercial breaks – simply press and hold the MUTE button on the provided remote control and the volume level will be immediately reduced, pressing and holding again will return to the original volume.
