Stop Fumbling Around In The Dark

Where is it? It has to be in this cool box somewhere. Of course it would help if the light were on – hang on a second, is this it? Ouch, no it is not. I know there is a drink in here somewhere – bear with me whilst I rummage around.

Oh, if only there was a light like in the fridge….

Coghlan’s Cooler Light

Coghlan’s Cooler Light is modelled after the light in the fridge – but is designed for use on when you are on the move. It has a LED light which reflects through an acrylic lens to offer enough light to find your item in the dark. The light will pop on when needed and shut off after around twenty seconds. It can be easily secured to a surface using the double sided adhesive tape (maybe under the cooler lid?).

Coghlan’s Cooler Light

As Coghlan’s website explain – the product originated from a novel twist on a familiar idea:

While celebrating a late night baseball victory and not being able to distinguish the beverages in their cooler, Canadian native Linda Pond and her daughter Rhonda Puckett decided they were done being left in the dark. The pitcher-catcher duo determined their cooler, like their refrigerator at home, needed a light source.

The Cooler Light is currently Available for $8.99 (as of 13th May 2009).
