Tips To Save Paper When Printing

There are a number of quick and simple things we can do to save paper, toner and ink, when printing.
Here are some tips which can help improve your printing and save you money:
- Print on both sides of the paper if possible
- Reduce your font size by one size
- Reduce the number of margins in your page setup
- Switch your printer to use economy mode or draft mode if it is available
- If you just want to save something for safe-keeping, print to PDF instead
- Switch off your printer at night
- Use the ‘Fit To Page’ function in page setup
- Print PowerPoint slides has handouts instead of one slide to a page
- Print the text only versions of websites
- Spell check BEFORE you print
- Use an online printing service instead of printing your own photographs
